Video player failed to load videos

Starting at 07:37 UTC today we noticed that our video player was not properly delivering videos. Our investigation showed that the player's hosting service was issuing errors, which made hosted scripts unavailable. This included our video player script as well.
Further investigation discovered that accessing specific versions of the script on that service was working properly. As an immediate workaround, we suggested transitioning to referencing specific versions for the player to properly work.

The issues ended at 08:02 UTC.

We are looking internally as to how to prevent future such occurrences and have access to our scripts in a more robust manner.
